Ella Ann Toone was born on the 2nd September 1999. She is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Women’s League Club Manchester United and England. Ella had represented England at under-17, under-19, under-21 levels before becoming a ‘Lioness’.

She scored the first goal in England’s 2–1 victory over Germany in the Final of UEFA Women’s euro 2022, which crowned them European Champions for the first time in their history.

Ella has achieved the accolade of being the only England player (male or female) to have scored in a Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final of a major International tournament.
